We are all heroes to somebody.
LittLe BlacK Boy
see your worth, please see yourself. Why as you continue to create you continue to see closed doors.
Never let em see you cry instead find new ways, LittLe BlacK Boy.
Thursday has never been a day they remember, find ways to remember you.
Never dream small, I am already getting my dad to build me my first ever office. I will never forget what he gave up for me.
The Jimi hendrix Collection
I come to you hungry and tired, you give food and let me sleep
I come to you weak, you give strength and that's deep
You called me a sheep, and lead me to green pastures
Only asking that I keep the focus, in between the chapters. You give me the word, and only ask I interpret
And give me the eyes, that I can recognize the serpent
You know I ain't perfect, but you'd like me to try
Unlike the devil who just wants me to lie, till I die Lord why is it that, I go through so much pain.
All I saw was black, and all I felt was rain
I come to you because it's, you who knows
You showed me that everything is black, because my eyes were closed
You gave me the light, and let me bask in your glory
So it was only right, that when you asked for this story
I put together, to do our dogs some good
Our dogs being, brothers and sisters in the hood Plenty of times you sent help my way, but I hid
And I remember once you held me close, but I slid
There was something that, I just had to see
That you wanted me to see, so I can be what you wanted me to be And I think I've seen it, 'cause I don't feel the same
Matter of fact I know I have seen it, I can feel the change
And it's strange, almost got me beating down your door
But I've never known love, like this before It's a wonderful feeling, to get away from the pain
And up under the ceiling, I get away from the rain
And the strain that I feel when I'm here, is gone
I know real so I wipe away the tears, with a song
And I almost lost faith, when you when you took my man.
Monty, Paso, and Jay's brother Dan
And I fear that what I saying, won't be heard until I'm gone
But it's all good, 'cause I really didn't expect to live long. So if it takes for me to suffer, for my brother to see the light.
Give me pain till I die, but please lord treat him right.
Some times I think my heart will stop.
Run black boy run, he will never catch you again. Let the sun make you strong.
I think the first time I met Edge, all I thought was this kid has the passion I hope most musicians - fuck it - artist have. He called to meet up with me. at first, I was taken back because I didn’t know what I could do to help him grow. But as he and Tega (his brother) kept talking, I got more and more curious. I asked him to rap on the spot. I could tell he was taken back, but after a few moments him and Tega were rapping and singing a cappella.
Right then and there I said, “I’m a fan. “
Lets skip to last year. I was at a function sitting in the back. If anyone knows me they know that I like to hide at points. As I sat at the event I notice Edge coming onto the stage. Now what I didn’t tell you about the above story was that Edge and Tega performed at my event that same week to about 400 people. But the Edge that rapped a capella for me, the edge that hit the stage 2 days after, or even the Edge that came to my house to show me a few songs had finally arrived. The stage presence! The ability to engage with the crowd and really formulate his performance to be an experience was finally here. What an experience! We were dancing to Afro infused beats and later learning about some of his own dark thoughts.
I ran up to him at the end of the show and just dapped him quickly knowing that he had to be celebrated. I wanted him to enjoy every moment of this. But the next day I had to call. I needed that song. His response was what everyone who knows Edge knows.

Throughout the year of 2019 I would get a 2am text, or a call saying, “can you listen.”Which leads me to Paris in the fall. I’m with Tiziano at the Canal and somehow a text comes in with a new link. It’s about 3:30am and after a debate about hiphop and where it’s going, we turned on Edge’s new song. A smile came on both of our faces. I won’t lie we were dancing and cheersing our glasses to a hit.
Vice City Vibes is everything we love about Edge’s ability to portray stories of love, sex, drugs and pain. In this new single, the beat, the sax, and then Edges melodic voice echo’s the hope for a great summer. It’s defiantly something we need now.
But don’t listen to me, take a listen for yourself.

Here we go the fight for our lives, I hope you didn’t get lost in the melody. I hope all the dancing and the art didn’t get in the way of the message.
I’m tired of being afraid of police officers, being afraid of the way I look because it might may cause violence. I am tired of always trying to understand.
My heart is broken, all of ours are. But be afraid of when we get strong. Because Fuck, how much more do you think we can take!
The embodiment of a King.

Good excuse for my absence like "Flacko where your ass been?"
Heard you done with fashion, now yo ass is acting
I'm tripping off the acid, now yo ass is looking massive
This ain't the shit equipped with columns from my reckless swagging
This that dark house party with this record blasting

my hero died. It’s funny how you can think someone is invincible your whole life. I don’t think i’ll ever really know how to explain how I feel.
I guess I just want to say thank you for making me believe dreams come true.
We love you Kobe, GiGi and everyone on the plane.
